Terms of Service

Effective date: July 19, 2026

These terms govern your use of Longtrove (the “Service”), a browser extension and web app for saving, organizing, and tracking ads from the Meta Ad Library. By creating an account or installing the extension, you agree to these terms.

Permitted use

Longtrove is for personal use and competitive research: saving ads you find interesting, organizing them into boards, and keeping an eye on advertisers you compete with or want to learn from. You may not use Longtrove to build or operate a competing product, resell access to the Service, or redistribute its output as a scraping API or bulk data feed to third parties.

What the Service reads

Longtrove reads only publicly available data from the Meta Ad Library, the same information you or anyone else could view in a browser without special access. Saving and enriching ads happens through the browser extension as you browse the Ad Library; tracking checks run separately, from Longtrove's own servers via a licensed data provider, against that same public Ad Library. Neither path accesses private Facebook data, your Facebook account, or any content outside the Ad Library.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal linked in your account; when you cancel, your subscription remains active through the end of the period you've already paid for, and won't renew after that. We don't offer prorated refunds for partial periods.

No warranty

Longtrove is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that ad data will always be complete or accurate; the Ad Library's own markup changes periodically and can affect what Longtrove is able to read.

Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service: for example, by attempting to circumvent usage limits, reselling access, or using Longtrove in a way that disrupts the Service for other users.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
